Blanks are a great option if you are interested in building your own bamboo rod but would prefer not to deal with the cane work.
Building a rod from a bamboo blank is no different than building one from graphite or fiberglass and requires no special tools
or finishing techniques.
Blanks are available in hexagonal and quadrate
geometries in any taper or action that I have, or I'm always happy to
use a taper you provide. Blanks are available
for both freshwater and saltwater use.
Like my rods, all blanks are top quality, made from start to finish by myself here in my shop
in Alaska.
