Line Weight Attributes

DynaRod User's Guide Preface How to use DynaRod Trouble Shooting Table of Contents

Up

This is the table for fly line weight.  AFTMA (American Fishing Tackle Manufacturers Association) defines the weight of fly lines by the length of 30 feet from the tapered end.
And now AFFTA (American Fly Fishing Trade Association) absorbed AFTMA standarad as it is for fly lines and added the standard for SPEY lines. This table is used through DynaRod to calculate the weight of Line to Fish and Line on the line following AFFTA standard.

Units of measure are in grain, gram and ounce.   Some item carries multiple unit of measure. When data is entered onto one of these column, the other unit column(s) are automatically calculated and displayed.
