Function General

Move button will show you the rod action as calculated.   If you want to see the rod action in motion, press [Move] button.  If you want to stop the motion from one shot to another, press [Snap] button.

For casters, [show Travel] button will draw the plot line of the Tip Top in the casting.  

[show Line] button will show you how the fly line loop is shaped by the defined casting.
By changing the definition of casting style in speed, angle, height, etc.,  you can see how the loop of line is shaped differently.

Function Buttons

Name Function
A little Faster makes the animation a little faster.  Button works when the animation is not moving.
A little Slower makes the animation a little slower.  Button works when the animation is not moving.
show Travel shows Tip Top Travel line through the casting.  To erase the line, press this button again.
show Line shows Fly Line and Loop through the casting. To erase the line, press this button again.
Snap Fwd. shows a snap shot of rod deflection one by one to forward direction.
Snap Bkwd. shows a snap shot of rod deflection one by one to backward direction.
Stop stops the animation when it is moving
Move starts the animation
Return to Archive returns to Archive screen

Data on the screen

Item Meaning
No of Repeat specifies number of repetition of a set of animation.  
repeat remains shows the numbers left in iteration
Line Height shows the height position (in inch) of fly line by the position of a Fly.
You can change this number to show the fly line differently, but the calculation of rod deflection is not changed.  This height is defaulted by the program at the position of initial tip top, or at the ground level due to the casting style.
current Speed shows the current level of speed.  
60 is the normal speed and the greater, the slower and the less the faster.
